What does engagement mean to us?

Our Engagement Team successfully deliver great opportunities for Trafford parent carers to come together to support and empower each other through various activities, information, training and workshop sessions.  We actively encourage our parent carers to come and attend our events for peer support and especially at our drop ins where we promote active self care and shared lived experience as we only know too well how hard some days are.

Our Engagement Team actively encourages Trafford parent carers to join the forum.  Becoming a member of the forum has many many benefits including being signed to our newsletter where you will find out about all the events we run.  

We also make sure to let you know changes in the wider SEND world and when anything SEND related happens in Trafford that may affect your family. We know how important peer support is so you will find that we are active on most social media sites and with our Facebook parent carer closed group you can tap into support that fits in with your caring responsibilities.

Engagement also helps support our Participation Team to ensure the wider voice of Trafford parent carers is heard at every opportunity.
