Linda Dorgu is our Support Services Administrator and is a parent carer for 2 daughters with various complex needs.
Linda has navigated her SEND journey alone, being an advocate for both her daughters and supporting various needs and has often felt isolated, exhausted and lonely, however throughout her journey she has been a sounding board for other parent carers in a similar position.
Linda is a qualified nurse who has trained to diploma level in both adult and paediatric and brings with her over 33 years of experience of nursing practice and a diverse range of experience within the NHS, private, corporate and school environments in the UK and overseas.
Linda is very passionate about helping to empower others particularly in the area of health and wellbeing and over the years has seen first hand how mental health and wellbeing impacts greatly on our physical health but yet it can be challenging if not impossible to give this the attention it deserves in modern nursing today.
Linda relocated to Trafford in early 2022 and joined the forum in June 2022.
Linda has a keen interest in learning a variety of parenting techniques and she has undertaken training courses such as ‘Parenting Puzzle’,’ Magic 123’ and an online course called’ Positive Parenting Solutions’.
